- Dr. Raina Stoyanova has over 11 years of experience. She graduated from Sofia Medical University in 2011, and in 2021 acquired a specialty in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases after specialization at the Clinic for Metabolic-Endocrine Diseases and Dietetics at UMBAL "Tsaritsa Joanna - ISU" Sofia. Dr. Stoyanova participates in various national and international projects related to metabolic diseases, obesity, diabetes mellitus, innovative ways of diagnosis and therapy of thyroid gland diseases, assessment and prevention of cardio-metabolic risk, women's health during menopause and others. She is an expert consultant in the development of various models and methods for working with patients, development of new molecules in the therapy of metabolic-endocrine diseases.
- Dr. Stoyanova works actively with athletes and uses a patented program to improve the health and performance of athletes with proven success. Together with her team, she provides overweight and obese patients with a one-of-a-kind comprehensive program for weight reduction and optimal fitness, including various examinations, drug and infusion therapy, microbiome assessment and intervention, nutrition and ongoing psychological support , providing constant control, strategic planning and tracking, support and motivation. She worked and still collaborates with the Clinic of Endocrinology and Diabetology at the French Hospital "Saint Louis" in Paris, as well as with the Canadian CAMH Hospital in Toronto.
- Dr. Stoyanova's scientific interests include malnutrition and, in particular, oncomalnutrition , as well as adequate counseling in the field of parenteral and enteral nutrition. She is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Endocrinology (BDE), the Bulgarian Thyroid and Parathyroid Society (BSTP), the Bulgarian Association for the Study of Obesity and Related Diseases (BASORD), the Bulgarian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BULSPEN), the European Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ESPEN), American Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), American Obesity Association (TOS), European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), Bulgarian Society of nutrition and dietetics (BDHD), etc. She speaks French and English.
